Jacopo Valentini


Jacopo Valentini (b.1990) lives between Modena and Milan.

In 2017 he obtained two degrees from two different universities: the the master's degree in Architecture Sciences / Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio and the Master in Photography / IUAV in Venice. During the same year he won the 101ma Collettiva Giovani Artisti alla Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice. In 2019 he is selected for Giovane Fotografia Italiana #07 (Fotografia Europea) in Reggio Emilia. He also produces together with Chippendale his first publication Volcano’s Ubiquity.

He exposed in museums and private spaces in Italy and abroad: Chiostri di San Domenico-Reggio Emilia, La Triennale di Milano-Milan, Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea L.Pecci-Prato, Museo Fattori Leghorn, RIBA-London, Fondazione Fabbri-Treviso, CampoSpace-Rome, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa-Venice, Politecnico di Milano-Milan, Centro Culturale San Fedele-Milan, Museo Navile-Bologna, Fondazione Ragghianti-Lucca, Palazzo Martinengo-Brescia, Una Vetrina-Rome, Linea di Confine Rubiera (RE), Palazzo Rasponi II - Ravenna.

Jacopo Valentini collaborates and assists the italian artist-photographer Stefano Graziani, for which he also performs the role of assistant to the ISIA of Urbino. Actually he is working on a personal research project on the displacement of the territory within the common imagination.
